My art has graced the covers of four cookbooks. These cookbooks have helped projects and organizations that I care about personaly. I am thrilled when my art can help someone else with a worthy cause.

Mom, I just wanted you to know how much I admire you for your selflessness. Danny Thomas said: “All of us are born for a reason, but all of us don't discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others.” With that in mind, you're the most successful person I know. Your life has been dedicated to children. Yours, mine, theirs, ours...children you've never met.Teaching them, sharing your knowledge of art, history, religion...You've spent countless hours giving yourself to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help find a cure for childhood cancer. No wonder, many years ago, you won the Danny Thomas Award for your dedication and gift of time and effort. Not that you would ever think of it as a sacrifice...you wouldn't. But that's just you. Always giving for others. I wouldn't be the person I am today without you or Dad and I just want you to know that. I'm sure you know which one of yours is writing this. If not, it doesn't matter. All three of us feel the same way about you and Dad and the commitment you've made to us, instilled in us and there's no one else I'd rather be my Mother. I'm so proud of you and all you've accomplished in your life. Though it is hard walking in the shadow of such a wonderful person, I hope that I can live up to your legacy. I love you.
